The small, almost nostalgic cable car has been in existence since 1975 and offers space for eight people or a cow – a "little train" of a special kind, connected to local life.

The cable car takes you to a magnificent hiking area with a unique view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, the triumvirate of the Bernese Oberland.

From Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg, the route leads along the white Lütschine and past the Trümmelbach Falls, considered the largest underground waterfalls in Europe.

The alpine topography offers little room for cross-country skiing. Nevertheless, there is a cross-country trail in the valley between Lauterbrunnen and Stechelberg. And this one is spectacular: a whole 72 waterfalls line the path between the two mountain villages.

The Eiger in the neck and the Wetterhorn in front of your eyes...

The varied route leads through forests and across open areas. Outside the forest, the view of the snow-covered peaks is so overwhelming that you should stop briefly to let the power of the mountains take effect on you.

The trail in Grindelwald Grund is easily accessible by bus or train. A large parking lot is also available.

Lift, hold, push, press...the ideal place to train your muscles.

On a total of 160m2, the fitness and weight room offers visitors 12 modern strength equipment stations, six endurance machines (ergometer, treadmill, rowing machine) and a spacious free weights area.

The fitness and weight room in the sports center is open all year round and includes admission to the indoor pool during its opening hours.

The local flying area extends from the Brienzer Rothorn, Axalp and Planplatten over the Titlis to the Grimsel and Susten regions. Experience the feeling of flying this wonderful sport without any worries. A passenger flight lasts between 20 and 60 minutes.

Good shoes and a warm jacket are a prerequisite - and the tandem flight with appropriately trained and experienced pilots can begin.
